Sons of Thunder & Daughters of Zion Wrestling Club
Wrestling is more than a sport, it is a test of strength, discipline, and perseverance. At Sons of Thunder and Daughters of Zion Wrestling Club, we train youth not just to win matches but to build character, resilience, and faith. Hard work and sacrifice are essential, but true strength comes from Christ. “ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13).
We are committed to raising up the next generation, offering opportunities for all kids, including those who may not have the resources or support elsewhere. Wrestling teaches that toughness isn‘t about where you come from but how hard you‘re willing to work. Just as wrestling demands endurance, the Christian life calls us to run with perseverance (Hebrews 12:1-2). Whether in victory or defeat, we stand firm in faith, knowing that our identity is secure in Jesus. We wrestle hard, train with purpose, and glorify God in all we do.
The Kenya Project
Thunder Ministries has launched Project Kenya, partnering with Injili Mission Church and other churches across Kenya, both in rural areas and inner cities,to support their unique needs. Each church is different. Some, like one congregation that previously gathered under a tree for worship, need basic structures. Others require agricultural support, community resources, or other essentials to strengthen their ministries.
But this mission isn’t just about what we can give, about what we can receive. The people of Kenya are passionate about Christ, living out their faith with a depth and joy that is truly inspiring. Thunder Ministries also seeks to bring Americans to Kenya, not just to serve, but to be transformed’ to grow closer to Jesus through the faith and fellowship of our Kenyan brothers and sisters.
